SUBJECT LINE: <Insert Your Boss’ Name Here>, I’d like to participate in LINC Redwood County

Hi <Insert Your Boss’ Name Here>,

As you know, attending high quality leadership training and ongoing education can be very costly. I wanted to make sure you were aware of a new program that will offer just that, right here in Redwood County.

About the Program

LINC Redwood County is a nine-month program meeting one day each month from September through May and consists of 24 participants. Each day is split into two parts; with the first half focusing on professional development training from educators such as the U of M Extension Program and the second half focuses on developing and gaining knowledge of community assets.

Not only will this program allow me to have meaningful networking opportunities, but it also strives to help me develop personal and professional skills. Anyone who lives, works, worships or has a child attending a Redwood County school can apply for the program.

To learn more about the program, visit their website.

Cost breakdown:

If selected from the pool of applicants, the program cost is only $55 per session for a total of $500. This includes leadership training (click here to see the topics), networking, site visits, lunch and more.

Thank you for your consideration on my attendance to this important educational series. With your permission, I would like to apply for the program. Applications are due by July 18th. Please reply with your decision as soon as possible.

Sincerely,
