Leadership Program Schedule & Monthly Sessions

LINC meets one full day each month on the second Tuesday, from September through May. Every session is carefully designed to blend  leadership development with immersive, place-based community experiences.

Your Morning

Expert led workshops, assessments, and interactive discussions centered on civic engagement, professional growth, relationship building and personal leadership development.

Your Afternoon

Educational site visits to businesses, nonprofits, farms, industries, local government and community organizations throughout Redwood County.

Leadership Workshop Topics

Leadership happens beyond the classroom.

Each session includes visits to businesses, community organizations, agricultural operations, nonprofits, historical sites, and local employers that help shape Redwood County.

These experiences provide valuable insight into the people, industries, and partnerships that strengthen our communities.

Program Commitment

Before applying, it's important to understand the commitment.

  • Program Length:
    September through May
  • Session Schedule:
    Second Tuesday of each month
  • Format:
    Full-day monthly sessions
  • Tuition Program:
    Tuition includes workshops, educational materials, leadership assessments, lunch and countywide experiences.
  • Transportation:
    Participants are responsible for their own transportation to each session and site visits. Ridesharing is encouraged and provides an opportunity to connect with fellow cohort members.
